Abstract:The deep-water channel phase II project plays a significant role in the Belt and Road Initiative, and is an important part of comprehensive three-dimensional transport corridors in the Yangtze River economic belt.Mainly for the four reaches which have navigation obstruction,we analyze the characteristics of hydrology-sediment upstream, the flow-sediment distribution and the river evolution process, also study the features of navigation obstruction and the trends of river bed revolution.Afterwards,we propose regulation occasion and key locations of each water reach,as well as the thinking of navigation regulation project. The results offer technical support for the design and construction of channel regulation programs, and provide good experiences for channel regulation of tidal rivers.
