    Abstract:

    The stackyard is one of the most important parts of bulk cargo wharf, which stacks goods according to customers and the nature of goods. But there are usually many kinds of goods and the size and quantity of piles are changing constantly. This paper puts forward a yard grid modeling approach in order to solve the yard modeling problems of the coal transfer yard. Besides, this paper builds a specific simulation model of one actual coal transfer terminal, the result of which provides a reference and recommendation to the planning and design of coal terminals.
