This paper deals with the determination of wharf surface elevation, handling technology arrangement mode, stackyard drainage design, and the light and lightning protection design based on the design of Shanghai Waigaoqiao port VI ro/ro terminal. It reveals that the ro/ro terminal design has its special features, thus the design shall be carried out according to the real conditions of port areas.
