Based on the overall planning of Dognjaikou district of Dongjiakou port, this paper studies the train of thought, principle, main factors and methods of the site selection and general layout under the new situation and environment, mainly introduces the evolution and key conclusions of port site selection and general layout plan, and proposes matters of attention during implementation of the planning.
