Based on the research on main needs of building national water transport EPC system network to the economic development, this paper analyses basic conditions existed currently for the construction of the water transport EPC system network in China, proposes ideas on the overall development of it , and puts forward the general idea on the integrated development of it from such areas as conceptual design, train of thought for the construction, main construction and research contents, as well as the prospect of developing the water transport EPC system network in Chian.
