The main construction content of the reclamation project in Weihai inner sea is using the method of sand blasting and silt squeezing to hydraulic fill.Mechanical compaction should be adopted after the completion of hydraulic filling in reclamation area.In the process of construction,it is necessary to measure the progress of the reclamation area for many times,and the calculation frequency of earthwork volume is relatively high.In order to ensure the accuracy of earthwork volume calculation,we compare different earthwork volume calculation methods of South CASS software,and select the reasonable calculation methods based on the actual situation of the project,so as to provide basis for project quality and schedule control.The results show that selecting the appropriate calculation method can accurately calculate the earthwork volume,and reflect the actual situation of the site vividly.
