Aiming at the problems existing in the integration and model sharing of surveying and mapping elements in the process of waterway BIM design,we propose a BIM-based integration of surveying and mapping elements and a method to realize the sharing of surveying BIM models based on special intermediate file format and common data model format. Through the engineering case analysis,we expound the technical route of BIM technology in the integration of surveying and mapping elements and the transfer and sharing of surveying and mapping models.The results show that the integration of surveying and mapping elements based on BIM technology and the sharing of surveying and mapping models have advantages,and the research results can provide reference for carry out BIM surveying and mapping work.
