This paper studies the setting,application and effect evaluation of depot management strategy in the automated container terminal.The new vertical stack yard structure brings the changes of the use mode,mechanical operation mode,interaction mode,stacking mode,operation habit and thinking mode brought by the new vertical stacking yard structure of the automatic wharf,and the new stacking yard management mode and stacking strategy are born accordingly. The management strategy of the stack yard of the automated container terminal is made by classifying the operations and combining the internal and external conditions of the terminal,so as to improve the utilization efficiency of the stack yard space and operation,cut down the operation cost,and enhance the comprehensive capacity of the stack yard.
