For high piling beam-slab quay with common cargo,cover plate and gutter are normally set up on top of longitudinal beam as the rain collection and drainage facilities.For the rehabilitation of old quay,this drainage method needs to cut gutter on top of the beam,which will damage the existing quay structure and increase the investment.Taking the drainage renovation project of an old quay in Jiangsu province as an example,we propose an underground pipe drainage method,and carry out standardized design of key nodes.The results show that the underground pipe drainage method has low investment and little influence on quay structure.It can provide references for similar projects.
