For the influence and treatment of the frequent scouring and siltation of the straight river reach from Xinzhou to Jiujiang on the navigation channel,we probe in to the relationship between the change of the shoal and the navigation conditions in the shallow section of the river based on the analysis of measured data.The results show that the shoal channel conditions of the river section relate directly to the scouring and siltation of the shoal:when the shoal is complete and the position is on the upper side,the navigation condition is better;otherwise,it is worse.On this basis,we put forward the regulation ideas and measures for improving the 6 m channel of the river section to enhance the control of the shoal body,limit the development of the coastal trough,and appropriately increase scouring in the shallow area.
