To deal with the difficulty of sand resource reuse and ecological landscape problem caused by sand siltation in the multi-sand river，taking the Gasitai River’s treatment as an example，we analyze the laws of sand-water process and riverbed evolution.Blocking up the coarse sand to reuse and discharging fine sand to improve sedimentation morphology in the flood period，and filling the mid-lower channel with clean water in the non-flood period by the terraced dropping and landscape dam，we can raise the survival rate of plants and improve the construction of downstream water ecosystem，meanwhile provid reference for subsequent projects.
