In order to compare the similarities and differences between the analysis method of the Geoslope software and the codes,we calculate and analyze a simple homogeneous soil slope,derive the calculation formula adopted by the process data of the software through Geoslope,and compare it with the code method.The results show that the Geoslope software calculates the resistance force smaller than the code method,so the safety factor calculation result is larger than the coeds.When using the software to calculate the stability of the slope,the safety factor should have a certain margin value compared with the standard limit.
