Chongqing Guoyuan port is the third generation integrated inland port with representative significance,which has the characteristics of large scale,multi-transportation and complicated environmental factors.Through the analysis and summarization of the key technical solutions such as port planning,handling technology,wharf structure and general layout of Guoyuan Port,the main ideas of the design process are introduced,and the key points of the overall design of the port of the upper Yangtze River under the new situation are summarized,which may serve as a reference for the design of the same type river ports.
