This paper studies the transformation model from the Changjiang waterway current surveying and mapping results to the 2000 national geodetic coordinate system.Based on the 2-D polynomial approximation model,transformation technology route is put forward.Upon examination,average model accuracy is better than 0.15 m,which meets less than 1:2 000 scale channel chart transformation precision.The method lays the technical foundation of Changjiang waterway converted to CGCS2000.
