Based on a long period of practice, Chinese standards have accumulated rich experience in investigation for port geotechnical engineering. It is necessary to master further foreign standards with the increase of overseas projects. Different countries have different codes. This paper compares codes among China and American and British in fields of geotechnical investigation report, laboratory soil test method and standard penetration test method.
