Abstract:for two different sections (rectangular and inverted trapezoid) of elastic foundation beams with Winkler foundation, we analyze the bending moment coefficient with different affect factors. The results show that the bending moment coefficient decreases with the increase of the foundation counterforce coefficient, increases along with the increase of concrete strength, decreases with the increase of the beam’s length-height ratio, and keep unchanged with the increase of the width-height ratio of the imposed load and beam. Under the same condition, the stress state of the foundation beam with the inverted trapezoid cross-section is superior to that with the rectangular cross-section.
