Standardization and normalization of port decision support system can improve the efficiency of port planning and construction, and the management level as well. Therefore, this study applies popular open source frameworks to port information service system through the techniques of Web GIS, Ajax and data persistence, to solve the key problems such as database management, GIS information services and user experience enhancement. Finally, a four-layer architecture for port information service system is proposed with the frameworks and techniques mentioned.
