      Abstract:Navigation and power junction projects generally have the characteristics such as large project investment,long construction period,complex construction environment and difficult coordination. Under the traditional management mode,the project is difficult to achieve refined management,there are a series of problems in the construction process,such as poor information communication and personnel coordination,difficulty in engineering measurement visa and schedule control. We analyze the application of BIM technology in design optimization and management in Qianwei navigation-power junction,and explore the refined management mode based on BIM technology. The results show that through the application of BIM technology during a total of life cycle in Qianwei navigation-power junction,it improves the design quality in the survey and design stage,realizes the auxiliary project management in all aspects of quality,progress,cost and safety in the construction stage,and finally realizes the cost reduction and efficiency increase of the project.

      Abstract:The navigation and power junction project generally faces some problems such as large investment,strong public welfare and poor economic benefits. In order to improve the economic benefits of the project,the owner unit must strictly control the investment cost of the project from all angles to achieve the purpose of reducing costs and increasing efficiency. We take Qianwei navigation and power junction in the Minjiang River comprehensive development project as an example,start from the four aspects of engineering design optimization,contract management,fund management and tax planning,expound in detail the main measures taken by the project to control the investment cost of the project and the effects. The results show that every management mean plays an important role in the process of project investment cost control,which can lay a solid foundation for the good operation.

      Abstract:The dynamic water load in the discharge valve section of a ship lock is a key technical problem in the design of a high head ship lock. Based on the unsteady flow atmospheric pressure model test of the“flat bottom & expanding top”corridor of the back arc-gate of Qianwei ship lock,we emphatically study the characteristics of hydrodynamic pressure and hoisting force in valve section,hydro-dynamic load in the corridor of valve section under the condition of hydro-dynamic closing,the influence of opening rate and acting head on hydro-dynamic load and hoisting force. The results show that considering the structural system of valve,dynamic water load behind the door,characteristics of opening and closing force,air defense effect,the valve of Qianwei ship lock will not cause harmful flow-induced vibration.

      Abstract:Qianwei ship lock is an important joint project of Minjiang high-grade waterway,and its effective scale is 220 m× 34 m × 4.5 m(length×width×water depth on sill),design head is 19 m. Combining with the general layout of the project and in accordance with the requirements of the specification,we determine the decentralized water conveyance system form of lock wall long corridor and branch corridor at the bottom of the lock in Qianwei ship lock,and verify by the hydraulic calculation and model test. The results show that the layout of the water conveyance system and the opening mode of the valves are reasonable. The berthing conditions of the lock chamber and the flow conditions of the upstream and downstream water inlets and outlets are good,which can meet the requirements of the flow conditions and the safe operation of the water conveyance system,and achieve the expected goal.

      Abstract:The Qianwei navigation and hydropower project of the Minjiang River is the third of the four cascades in the recent channelization of the Leyi section of the Minjiang River. It plays an important role in the development of Minjiang shipping and river basin economy. In order to ensure the safety of ships passing the lock during the dry season period,we apply the actual ship test to determine the navigable current conditionsof the upper and lower approach channels of the ship lock navigable current conditions and ship navigation posture and other relevant parameters,analyze the feasibility and safety of navigable locks during the dry season period.The results show that the ship can basically enter and exit the ship lock safely,there is no bad flow state of the shi plock’s filling and discharging water,and the ship’s mooring force meets the requirements. However,the sloped current in the downstream entrance area of shiplock is large,so the ship should be steered cautiously,and the navigation should be suspended if necessary.

      Abstract:The navigation problem of the ship lock is very important,but the serious sediment deposition will lead to the insufficient navigation depth of the channel and affect the navigation. In view of the problem of sediment deposition in the lower approach channel and entrance area of Qianwei ship lock,we use two-dimensional sediment model for numerical simulation,analyze the causes of sediment deposition,put forward and verify the measures of improving the channel sedimentation. The results show that affected the downstream riverbed topography and the boundary conditions of approach channel and entrance area,a wide range of backflow is formed,and the sediment deposition range and thickness are large. The sediment deposition is significantly reduced after taking the improvement measures.

      Abstract:In order to determine the basic parameters of the natural-like fishway design of Minjiang Qianwei navigation-power junction and the rationality of the fishway layout,the swimming ability of the fish caught in the surrounding rivers is tested on the spot,the flow conditions in entrance and exit of fishway are verified by the hydrodynamic calculation of the two-dimensional mathematical simulation model,and the hydraulic characteristics of the natrual-like fishway are researched by physical model. The design plan is proposed:1)The fishway design level should be determined by the combination of guarantee rate of flow and the level of power generation.2)The nature-like fishway is arranged on the stockpile body on the left side of the power plant. The fishway and its transversal partitions are all made of gabions,and water supplement measures are arranged at the entrance of the fishway.The experimental results show that the designed velocity of Qianwei fishway is no more than 1.20 m/s,and the velocity distribution of each chamber in the fishway is diversified,which meets the hydraulic conditions of the fish.

      Abstract:Aiming at the anti-seepage design for the fishway structure arranged on the slag pile platform,we study the anti-seepage forms for various hydraulic structures in water conservancy project. Based on the comparative analysis of the anti-seepage form of similar projects,we conclude that the anti-seepage material suitable for this project is the anti-seepage geo-membrane,the excellent elasticity and deformability of which make it very suitable for the expansion or contraction base,and which can effectively overcome the uneven settlement of the base surface. It is also has the advantages of good seepage prevention effect,convenient construction,lower project costand shorter project period. Summarizing technical characteristics and construction precautions of geo-membrane,we hope to provide reference for similar projects.

      Abstract:According to the characteristics of bulb-type tubular unit,the powerhouse overall stability and structural stress have been respectively analyzed by using the material mechanics method and three-dimensional finite element method. Reasonable layout and structure design have been carried out for the powerhouse by properly setting the locations of water-stops between joints,as well as the foundation treatment.The satisfactory results are obtained for the powerhouse design,and the overall layout and structural design of powerhouse are reasonable,safe and economical.

      Abstract:The Minjiang Qianwei navigation-power junction adopts the construction diversion scheme of three phases and six sections to ensure continuous navigation during the construction period. In view of the problems of tight schedule and safe flood control risk in the third phase of the project,we propose to use the left lock wall to block the water and control the flood control during the diversion construction of the second phase cofferdam,and to demolish part of the second phase longitudinal cofferdam in advance under dry land condition. The results show that in the construction process of large ship lock in mountainous rivers,the use of the gate wall to hold back water and control the flood season can reduce the amount of underwater weir removal,improve the quality of longitudinal cofferdam removal,shorten the demolition period of the cofferdam,which has the significant economic and social benefits.

      Abstract:Aiming at the problems existing in the construction of ecological fishway in Qianwei Navigation-Hydropower Junction,such as great disturbance in channel slope excavation,difficulty in ensuring the compactness,difficulty in connecting the anti-seepage geomembrane of the channel,irregular changes in the route of ecological fishway,and tedious work in slope excavation survey and setting-out,the construction technology of ecological fishway was studied. Firstly,the feasibility of the design scheme of imitating ecological fishway in Qianwei Navigation and Hydropower Junction was verified by fishway model test and fish ecology test. Then,combined with the characteristics of imitating ecological fishway,the fishway channel shape,fishway flexible seepage control and fishway slope rolling were studied to ensure the fishway construction quality and fishway structure stability. This paper analyzes the flow pattern of fishway pond chamber and the maximum flow velocity of fish passing control section,puts forward the influence of fishway curve and diaphragm permeability on flow velocity,and reasonably sets up the rest pond to ensure the target fish to pass through fishway smoothly. Using local natural building materials,the natural migration channel of fish is constructed,which conforms to the ecological principle and meets the requirements of ecological protection.

      Abstract:Aiming at the submergence of the foundation pit of the power plant,the underwater blocking research is carried out. The Minjiang Qianwei navigation-power junction adopts the blocking scheme of“underwater operation + temporary blocking body + back support + flat pressure device”,which overcomes many problems such as limited working space,short construction period,high difficulty,and prominent safety hazards. It takes 9 days to successfully block the traffic corridor to ensure the progress and safety of the project. This result has filled the research gaps in this field,laid the foundation for research,and formed an invention patent at the same time.

    • Identify of reflect false anomaly of steel bar in concrete by ultrasonic S-wave 3D imaging technology

      Abstract:In order to solve the problem that the false anomaly generated by the reflection of reinforcement in the nondestructive testing of concrete defects interferes with the diagnosis and discrimination of defects,we carry out an experimental study on the reflection and defect of reinforcement in precast beam concrete. We discuss the influence of the steel bar distributed in different directions on the ultrasonic S-wave 3D imaging test results,establish the suspected defect group and the control group,and apply the ultrasonic method for comparison and verification,and obtain the false abnormal characteristics of the reflection of vertical and oblique steel bar. The results show that the false anomaly generated by the vertical distribution of steel bars is easy to identify,while the false anomaly generated by the oblique distribution of steel bar has a higher similarity with the true anomaly generated by the effective reflection wave from the defect,and produces a greater interference to the anomaly identification. Data interpretation should be combined with design drawings to strengthen identification,so as to avoid misjudgment.

      Abstract:Aiming at the safety problems of large entrance ship lock during construction,based on Qianwei ship lock of the Minjiang River,we monitor the settlement and displacement of the upper and lower approach channel,the upper and lower lock head and the lock chamber,the earth pressure behind the wall,the base pressure,the seepage pressure at the bottom of the wall,the stress and strain of concrete and steel in the key parts of the lock. The results show that the measured values of the earth pressure of the ship lock are mainly affected by the pouring of the upper concrete and the backfill earth pressure behind the wall. The measured values of each measuring point of the strain gauge group are mainly affected by the hydration heat of concrete at the initial stage,and are mainly affected by the pouring of surrounding concrete at the later stage. The measured values of each measuring point of the steel bar gauge are mainly affected by the construction stress change of the upper concrete. The pouring time of concrete should be reasonably arranged and the hydration heat of concrete should be controlled during the construction of ship lock.

In order to shorten the construction period,save the investment of cofferdam construction,and meet the overall schedule of the project and the navigation requirements during the construction period,it is necessary to remove the “second stage and second section cofferdams”,and use the gravity lock wall outside the ship lock to retain water during the flood season to continue construction.       Abstract:Aiming at the maintenance of large ship locks in mountainous rivers,the maintenance gates types and lifting equipment are compared from the aspects of investment cost-effectiveness,commonality,convenience,etc.,therefore,it is determined that the maintenance plan of Qianwei ship lock is“floating stacked beam maintenance door + crane ship”. The particularity of Qianwei ship lock maintenance is described in detail,and the research on the hoisting process of the crane ship in Qianwei ship lock maintenance is carried out. Through experience summary and boundary condition simulation methods,the key control elements of crane ship in hoisting super large floating stacked beam maintenance door are obtained. The article introduces in detail the application of crane ships in the lifting and maintenance of gates in large ship locks in mountainous rivers,which provides experience and reference for similar large ship locks.

The construction experience of the project proves that the measures taken by the supervision organization effectively guarantee the construction quality of mass concrete,so it is feasible.       Abstract:Temperature crack control is a key problem to be solved in the application of mass concrete. Structural crack will have a negative impact on the durability of concrete. In order to control the problem of mass concrete cracking,we pour the main hydraulic structures of Qianwei ship lock with the low heat cement concrete,and analyze the inspection results of physical samples,the temperature data collected on site and the actual effect of concrete. The results show that the hydration heat and the adiabatic temperature rise of concrete at each hydration age are lower than these of ordinary cement,which can effectively reduce the temperature stress of concrete and the risk of concrete cracking. The low heat Portland cement can be better used in the mass concrete of ship lock engineering to solve the problem of cracking.

    • Analysis on engineering properties of cement-sand-gravel

      Abstract:Cement-sand-gravel dam combines the advantages of low cost of earth rock dam and high safety of concrete dam,which can greatly improve the land utilization rate. In case of excessive flood,it will not break the dam and has a short recovery period,and the difficulty of rescue and disaster relief is greatly reduced. We summarize the advantages of current examples of cement-sand-gravel dam projects at home and abroad,simulate the diagenetic process of sand gravel by manually selecting cementitious materials and sand gravel for mixing,paving and rolling combining with the construction example of cement-sand-gravel dam project in the reservoir area of Qianwei navigation-power junction project in Minjiang River,test and analyze the engineering properties of synthetic cement-sand-gravel to determine the optimal mix proportion,and compare it with the engineering properties of natural calcium cemented cement-sand-gravel in Yele hydropower station. The results show that it is safe and feasible to use synthetic cement-sand-gravel to build dam,which can provide references for the similar projects.

      Abstract:At present,the cemented gravel dams of domestic and foreign engineering examples all use rock foundations as the foundation surface. There is no precedent for the construction of cemented gravel dams on the foundation of sandy gravel overburden. Combining the example of the flood control embankment project in the reservoir area of the Minjiang Qianwei navigation-power junction,this paper uses the material mechanics method and the finite element method to explore the design of cemented gravel dam on the sandy gravel foundation. The cross-section design,stability and stress analysis,dam structure design and anti-seepage design,etc. are carried out,and a foundation treatment plan for building a cemented gravel dam on the foundation of a deep sandy and gravel is proposed.

The applicability,durability and cost of different types of foot protection are compared and analyzed,the application of prefabricated tetrahedral toe protection of cemented sand gravel in dike engineering and river anti-scour structure is discussed.

      Abstract:The rigid flood bank such as the cemented gravel embankment is safer when facing excessive flood,and has smaller sections,with less land occupied,but the traditional cemented gravel embankment ignores the ecological function. By combining the ecological function with the cemented gravel embankment in the design of Tangba flood bank of Minjiang Qianwei navigation and power hub project,we propose the scheme considering both remarkable function and ecologic performance,and analyze the economic and social benefits of cemented gravel embankment’s soil and water conservation. The result shows that the cemented gravel embankment can combine the safety property with ecological functions in many ways,and achieve the effect of green ecology and beautiful landscape,reduce the amount of soil erosion on the reservoir bank to protect biodiversity,thus it is more suitable for the urban embankment.

    • Application of a new type of flood control wall in mountainous rivers

      Abstract:Due to the high water level caused by the cascade construction along the river or the low standard of the built embankment in the original city,the current levee standards often fail to meet the requirements of the specifications and need to be heightened. Taking the design of Huangqiba protection dike in Minjiang River as an example,this paper puts forward several new types of flood control wall structure,and compares and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages. According to the structural characteristics of different flood control walls,the applicability of the new type of flood control wall in mountainous rivers and urban embankments is demonstrated.
