Abstract:One of key issues for design of the general layout plan and the handling system for an automatic container terminal is how to reasonable choose and set the layout model of both seaside and landside of automatic yard.Based on summary and analysis of layout models of truck handling area for the automatic RMG yard of exciting automatic container terminals in the world,four layout models are proposed,and their respective characters are compared.The function deployment and operational model are analyzed in handling area in landside of automatic RMG’s yard.RMG’s types,railway berth and handling height are determined.Track park lanes and related parameters,driver operation kiosks and their safety control measures are decided.The standard layout model,size,operational procedures and control processes of three types RMG’s yard are proposed,and the standards are used in Yangshan phase IV project.

Abstract:Fully automated container terminals have such advantages as high efficiency,environmentally friendliness and safety.It is essential to adopt appropriate traffic framework for automated technology systems,which can ensure the normal operation of terminals and achieve the aim of promoting the traffic ability and reduce the time vehicle delay on intersection effectively.Combining Yangshan port phase IV fully automatic container terminal construction project, we adopt the design method for the freeway interchange and adhere the concept of one-way traffic management applied to the route design and traffic distribution of the roadways of the port area.Moreover,VISSIM is employed to simulate the traffic framework.It is concluded that the entrance and exit gates are arranged separately,the trunk road inside the port area adopts the one-way traffic mode,and roads outside the port area are overcrossing at the intersections of the terminal area.

Abstract:The requirements and standards of automation gantry crane running accuracy are very high because the rate of it is much faster than ordinary gantry crane.Researches are requested on how to choose the feasible,reliable and economical form of track foundation and how to choose reasonably the relevant parameters based on the actual situation.By comparison of the current common form of track foundation,with examples and finite element numerical simulation of Yangshan project,a new track foundation type is proposed,dual adjustable track foundation.In the meantime its structure and configuration design is improved.Based on the above researches,the problem of safe and efficient operation of gantry crane without pile foundation on the subsidence prone ground is basically solved.

Abstract:The Yangshan phase IV project is a fully automatic container port,the crane load of which is beyond the conventional one.The design of hydraulic structures of wharf need to adapt to the super-conventional load and automation technology.Especially,according to the requirements of the automatic loading and unloading process,some specific areas of the wharf surface can not contain metal,so as not to interfere with the magnetic nail signal.According to the design conditions of phase IV project,the paper demonstrates the structure type and pile foundation scheme.Combining with the loading and unloading process characteristics,the innovative design of the main components of the wharf is carried out.It is proved that the wharf is suitable for the high-piled beam-slab structure,and according to the change of the covering layer,the pile foundation is divided into the driven pile and the pile embedded in rock.To adapt to the crane load and automatic loading and unloading process which are beyond the conventional ones, the track beam is designed according to the theory of deep beam,and fiber reinforced composite materials is used for the first time in the design of wharf surface layer.

Abstract:The AGV battery replacement station of automation container terminal has a complex process,and the charging equipment emits huge heat when it works.The charging area working temperature shall be controlled between 20~35 ℃ to meet the cooling,dehumidification and anti-salt fog environment requirements.Taking the phase IV project of Shanghai Yangshan deepwater port as an example,we research the designs scheme of ventilation and air conditioning,and determin using split air conditioning.The system has the characteristics of flexible load regulation and the use of safe and reliable.It ensures that the air conditioning and ventilation system of the battery replacement station can operate stably for a long time,and can reduce the energy consumption of the air conditioning and ventilation system.

Abstract:The meter reading in the traditional container terminals using manual meter reading method,is inefficiency,cannot timely monitor pipeline leakage fault.Combining with automatic meter reading requirements in the automated container terminal,the traditional port area present situation and the reasons of the loss of water are analyzed.Based on the application experience of remote water meter in real estate projects,and according to the characteristics of the automation area,the remote water meter in automation function within the port area system and framework are defined,and its application effect is analyzed.The remote water meter system in Yangshan port phase IV project,has fundamentally solved a series of problems of the traditional meter reading.The automation terminal water system management modes provids a good example in the future.
