Abstract:The intelligent waterway is an inevitable trend for the development of inland waterway informatization.Facing the business demand of the Yangtze River waterway including the smooth,efficient,safe and green development of the inland water transportation,we propose the system of key technology of the Yangtze River intelligence waterway including three levels and 20 key technologies,construct a support diagram between the system of key technology and the goals of inland river water transportation development,and point out the research and development tasks for the future.All these will provide a theoretical guidance to the synchronous breakthrough for the key technologies of the Yangtze River intelligence waterway.

Abstract:The detection technology of soft mattress construction is to ensure that the soft mattressis laid in accordance with the standards and confirm whether the construction quality achieves the desired effect.To achieve the intelligent control of the soft mattress construction,we construct the overall architecture of the mattress construction management system,analyze the key technologies of the construction detection,i.e.the image stitching technology and the lap width of image recognition technology,and propose the design requirements and schemes of the system’s hardware,software and data acquisition systems.

Abstract:With the construction of the digital fairway of the Yangtze River,the electronic channel chart of the Yangtze River is to be applied formally,and it raises new demands on the ship-shore wireless communication of the whole fairway of the Yangtze River.This paper carries out a field test on the 3G wireless network of two operators:China Mobile and China Unicom,and conducts a contrastive analysis on the signal coverage.On the basis of the study mentioned above,this paper offers a technical proposal on the improvement of the communication security of the Yangtze River fairway.

Abstract:With the content,timeliness,reliability requirements of element information service from the Yangtze River waterway to the shipping,combining with the variety and complex evolution of the elements of the Yangtze River waterway,we present a new method based on the dynamic information from navigating ships to overcome the insufficient frequency based on the professional measurement in surveying and mapping,also the lack of space perception based on fixed point digital perception used Internet of things.The key technologies of this new method are analyzed with multisensor integration,multi-source information quality evaluation,and multi-source data fusion.A comprehensive perception system with terminal perception,hydrographic survey,and navigating ships perception will be reconstructed to expand element information sources of waterway,and improve the interaction between ships and the land center.It will also help to improve the element perception ability of inland waterways which get the dual influence of natural evolution and human activities,and improve waterway information service quality to navigation.

Abstract:Since the impoundment of the Three Gorges reservoir,Lujiahe waterway had been significantly eroded as the result of branch water from the reservoir.In recent years,the inlet of Shahong branch begun to deposit and formed a new shoal gradually,with the change of river boundary conditions,hydrodynamic condition and the incoming water and sediment condition.We analyze the channel morphology,hydrologic and sediment regimes,scour and silting evolution and beach distribution variations of Lujiahe waterway,based on which,we explain the deposition mechanism of Shahong inlet.Finally,we forecast the variation of sediment scouring and silting,beach morphology and river flow conditions in Shahong inlet area of Lujiahe waterway.

Abstract:Taipingzhou shortcut waterway lies to the right branch of Taipingzhou in the lower Yangtze and it belongs to a typical tidal reach.The left branch of Taipingzhou is the main navigation channel,and the 12.5 meter Deep Waterway Project in the Yangtze Estuary to be implemented in the near future.During regulation engineering of Taipingzhou reach,we need to fully recognize its impact on the main river,and take relevant countermeasures.This paper establishes an unsteady 2-D shallow water flow tidal sediment mathematical model for the Yangzhong reaches and analyzes the impacts of Taipingzhou reach regulation engineering on the river bed evolution of the main river.

Abstract:This paper presents a new two-dimensional finite-volume numerical model to study the adjusting effect of the Anqing river waterway regulation,covering three continuous bending braided channels,i.e.Anqing,Taiziji and Guichi Waterway. A series of prototype observed hydrologic data are adopted to verify the model’s parameters.The computed water level,splitting ratio,and cross section velocities of the model agree well with the measured values,which indicate that the model may be used to model the flow processes in Anqing channel.

Abstract:According to the existing measured data of Huguang-Luohuzhou waterway in the middle Yangtze River,we analyze the river bed evolution characteristics,the navigation obstructing characteristics and main channel navigational problems.A distorted river model with plane scale 1:420,vertical scale 1:120 was built to forecast the channel evolution trend.Based on model results,we study different waterway regulation schemes,and put forward the recommended scheme.

Abstract:Zhoutian-Ouchikou river reach is an important part of the Jingjiang river,which is also one of the key reaches of the “645” projects in Hubei province.At present,under the requirements of construction of the Yangtze River Economic Zone strategy,the waterway depth is planned to be further increased to 4.5 meters in the dry season from Yichang to Wuhan.However,the current maintenance depth is 3.5 meters in Zhoutian-Ouchikou river reach during the dry season,which remains a large amount of depth to be increased.This paper analyzes changes of deep channel and accomplishments of built regulation projects and demonstrates the obstacle problem of further enhancing the waterway depth.Moreover,the potential concerning enhancement of the waterway dimension is provided from the project plan and the non-technical conditions aspects in order to give a support to decision by related departments.

Abstract:Taipingzhou shortcut waterway is located in Yangzhong city,which is the important reliance for Zhenjiang port to realize port layout optimization and sustainable development.Currently,under the influence of bed evolution,the waterway condition at the upper reaches of Taipingzhou shortcut waterway is unstable,and several channel is lack of bending radius,thus there may exists shallow and navigation obstruction.So,we need to seize the favorable opportunity to improve the waterway condition of Taipingzhou shortcut.Using the mathematical model,we discuss the waterway regulation project plan for Taipingzhou short waterway.

Abstract:The regional condition of Beizhi reach in the lower reach of the Yangtze River is superior,the development potential is huge,and the channel condition is very important.It is important to master the evolution characteristics of the Beizhi reach,which can provide reference for the synthesized waterway regulation of Beizhi reach.Based on the hydrologic and topographic data of Beizhi reach in recent years,we analyze the river evolution characteristics and evolution tendency.According to the present situation need,we propose the train of thought on waterway regulation of each reach.The result shows that waterway regulation for the Beizhi reach branch shall be implemented on the basis of the existing regime control engineering,and taking the principle of proper utilization according to the water depth.

Abstract:Based on the successfully predicted Majiazui waterway riverbed evolution trend using the prototype observation data analysis and model test method,the paper studies the channel regulation measures,and puts forward the principle and contents.After the project,Nanxingzhou right branch channel was scoured,the channel slot and left branch deposited,the left branch diversion ratio decreased,and the channel condition was improved significantly and thus met the channel’s planned scale.The successful experience may serve as reference for the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River waterway regulation.

Abstract:With the regulation project in Dongliu waterway,the overall regime is basically under control and channel conditions are obviously improved.However,the evolution analysis of Dongliu waterway shows that the quick increase of diversion ratio in the East channel in recent years leads to sedimentation on the left side of the Tiger beach and the width stress on west transition section of west port.If these adverse trends continue,not only the regulation effect will be seriously weakened,but also new navigational problems will occur.The thought of taking west port as the main channel for regulation is confirmed again and the regulation scheme is put forward.

Abstract:In recent years,Mazu waterway of Madang reach appears new changes,and the waterway maintenance turns increasingly difficult.The primary cause of such issue is summarized as turbulence at the upstream reach,and shallow depth at downstream.Based on the experimental investigation to the reason why the Mazu waterway results in an obstruction,12 programmes are studied in fixed-bed models and 6 programmes are studied in movable-bed models,and determines at last the recommended engineering scheme.After implementation of the project during 2009 and 2010,the waterway condition is improved obviously.

Abstract:In recent years,the left-branch of Anqing river course tends wider and shallower because of the development of its mid-branch,thereby it causes the obstruction of navigation.This paper analyzes the causes of navigation obstruction and demonstrates the regulation schemes based on the river model experiment.After implementation of the phaseⅠ project during 2010 and 2011,the navigation condition is improved obviously and the waterway keeps smooth in the dry season.Preliminary regulation effect has been achieved.

Abstract:Daijiazhou section is one of the key navigation-obstructing sections emerging in the middle reach of the Yangtze River,and staged regulation measures are taken for it.The implementation of the Daijiazhou right border lower section guarding project is mainly to consolidate the achievement of the first phase project,restrain the Daijiazhou right border under section’s eroding out,and prevent the straight waterway’s flat form developing at the unfavorable direction,which create favorable conditions for the follow-up works.It is thought that the implementation of the project obviously stabilize the right border lower section and improve the waterway’s navigation condition,and the expected goal will be reached.

Abstract:The Yichang to Wuhan river reach in the middle reaches of Yangtze River is the bottleneck restricting the Yangtze River golden waterway.With the navigation benefit of the Three Gorges project and the speeding up of the Yangtze River waterway construction during the “12th Five-Year-Plan” period,its channel depth will realize the planning goal in advance,but there is still a large gap between the navigation ability and growing economic demand for water transport.Based on the analysis of waterway regulation engineering effect,channel change characteristics and channel navigation condition,the article discusses the channel regulation thoughts.

Abstract:This paper analyzes main factors influencing the low water level after the impoundment of the Three Gorges project,calculates the designed stage of Jingjiang reach according to the hydrological data during year 1982 and 2002,and checks the stage referencing the predicted value obtained from the water-sand mathematical model and according to the low stage of Jingjiang reach after the impoundment,we get the designed stage which is relatively safe and which reflects not only the impact of the impoundment ,but also the variation trend of the designed stage.

Abstract:Since the impoundment of Three Gorges reservoir,water and sediment to the downstream reach has changed,resulting in the process of river transformation on the Changjiang-Lujiahe river and erosion of the bed.Based on the latest prototype observation data of the reach after construction of the Gorges project,we analyze the changes about imported shoal of Shahong and the waterway conditions,and propose the development mechanism of the imported shallow of Shahong and the impact of the regularity on the waterway conditions.We also predict the trend of the bed evolution of the imported shallow and the waterway conditions,and consider that the waterway conditions maybe further decline under the natural role.The research result may serve as reference for the channel regulation ideas and engineering design in the project.

Abstract:With the gradual decrease of available shorelines along the Yangtze River,there is an urgent need to develop some shorelines in complex conditions,and many of which are required to have their branches navigable as a basis.Nowadays we advocate green & harmony waterways,so to carry out the feasibility study on the development and utilization of the branches of the Yangtze River trunk waterway can not only serve for the coastal economy,but also for waterway resource protection.For Jiangkou branch waterway which has a strong demand for development,we conduct a study on the channel scale and maintenance dimensions based on the bed evolution analysis,channel condition check,as well as the development & utilization feasibility analysis,and predict further the social and economic benefits due to the opening of the branches,which have great practical value and broad application prospects.

Abstract:The flow,sediment and topographic conditions of Jingjiang reach in the lower Yangtze River are complex.Establishing a flume model,we carry out an experimental research on the edge scouring of bed protection mattress in Jingjiang reach,including the effects of velocity,ballast condition and bed protection mattress width on the maximum depth and the underwater slope stability coefficient.We also put forward a new scouring depth calculation formula.The underwater slope stability coefficient is determined to be 0.5 in Jingjiang reach.The research provides an important basis for the determination of the length of the bed protection mattress.

Abstract:Based on a series of physical property tests and tri-axial consolidated undrained shear test of remodeling sample of sliding soil under different shear rates for the sliding-zone soil of a landslide in Badong area,this paper ascertains the soil classification of the sliding-zone soil,analyzes the stress-strain relationship about the sample of the sliding-zone soil and does the curve fitting of Duncan-Chang model using the experimental data.According to the analysis and validation,the paper considers that the hyperbolic relationship of Duncan-Chang model can better reflect the gradual hardening type of the type-strain characteristics about the sliding-zone soil of the landslide,and can provide reference for the numerical simulation study on the type of landslide.

Abstract:As a deceleration and siltation remediation buildings,in recent years permeable framework has been gradually promoted in the waterway regulation engineering and mostly widely used in the guardian projects.A new type of permeable framework,i.e.twisted double H permeable framework was developed and it was tested in the bottom protection of Tongzhousha submerged breakwater in first phase deep channel construction,12.5 m below in Nanjing.The current waterway regulation engineering quality inspection standards does not make the specific provisions,which is the guarantee of the protective effect.By flume tests,this paper proposes the test standard of the permeable framework for the bottom protection.And on this basis,the appropriate test methods are proposed using the measured scan sonar image analysis.The indoor optical image test verified well.

Abstract:Flows through a tetrahedron frame and a double H permeable frame in a smooth channel are simulated using an open source CFD soft Fluidity.Results of the numerical simulation are that the permeable frame may reduce the eddy viscosity which is helpful to the flow turbulent motion and the energy dissipation,induce sediment deposition in a sediment laden flow by changing the flow direction and increase the energy dissipation.The double H permeable frame can retard local flow velocities and enhance sediment deposition and new land creation better.

Abstract:Based on the in-depth analysis of the bed evolution characteristics of Douhudi channel,we establish the 3D current numerical simulation model.According to the regulation objective and regulation thought,we carry out 3D movable fixed-bed study on the regulation effect for the river reach,including mainly the calculation of the speed and pattern for local current,and analysis and study on the flow strength and plane distribution of the shearing stress,and obtain the variation situation of scouring strength within the engineering protection scope.The research result may serve as reference for the revetment engineering design and optimization.

Abstract:The D-type flexible mattress is the main technology of the bottom protection structures in Changjiang waterway remediation engineering.In order to enhance the longitudinal linking strength of D-type flexible mattress,reduce the “tearing” phenomenon and better play the effect of bottom protection and sand fix,this paper conducts the program design of longitudinal linking mode,conducts the test study on the problems concerned,proposes the new longitudinal linking mode,and verifies it through the engineering practice. The result shows that the linking mode of 14 mm polypropylene rope meets the requirement of mattress sinking basically.

Abstract:Based on an energy equilibrium viewpoint,the bed-load transport energy comes from the flow energy.The bed-load motion lags the flow and the consumed energy of bed load depends on the relative motion between the flow and particles.A bed-load transport relation is deduced.According to the experimental data,the influential factors of the parameters of the bed-load transport relation are determined.Using the experimental data,the parameters of the bed-load transport relation are validated.The formula is in good agreement with the experimental data with higher accuracy.

Abstract:With the development of harbor bridge construction and wide application of high-performance concrete,the cracking of concrete bridges is attracting more and more attentions.The special requirements in bridge engineering design are often put forward,such as concrete continuous casting,and this lead to a lot of high pier and large-span bridge engineering structures,so that the temperature control and crack prevention become one of the key problems in the bridge design and construction.Combining with the practice of bridge design and construction,and applying FEM simulation and visual programming technologies,this paper analyzes the temperature and stress fields of some concrete bridges,makes relatively systematical and in-depth study on the cracking mechanism and prevention measures for the bridge concretes.
