Abstract:After 30 years’reform and opening up, the coastal ports in Guangdong province has basically formed the development pattern of rational layout, structured, highly related to the regional distribution of productive forces. Now the port of Guangdong province is facing a new development environment, and the direction and ideas of the port development in the future need to be recombined. Based on the status and development environment of the coastal ports in Guangdong province and oriented to the implementation of the National Regional Development Strategy, the strategic thinking for the long-term development is studied in this paper to provide a reference for the relevant industry sectors to develop the strategic planning.

Abstract:Leisure and travel function is an important trend of coastal port’s function broadening in the new era in China, and governments are now working to promote the development of cruise industry. Abstract:With the planning and development of international tourism in Hainan island, we plan to expand the land space at the new sea port area along the west coast of Haikou by building an artificial island to construct an international tourism ecological harbor, cultural exchange and hydrophilic space,business of international highend residential area and modern service industry gathering area. Abstract:This paper analyzes the cruise tourism status and prospects for the development combining with the level of regional economic development in Guangdong province. According to the operating conditions of the cruise routes, the cruise tourists can be divided into Chinese passengers and foreign passengers of visiting cruise,based on different characteristics of which, the development levels of port cruise passenger traffic of various routes are predicted.

Abstract:The method of fluid-solid coupling three-dimensional numerical model combined with advanced GPU computing technology, provides a breakthrough calculation method for the simulation analysis on the interaction between waves and hydraulic structures, which overcomes the shortcomings of the existing mathematical model for continuous medium, and can solve many problems that used to be solved only by wave physical models.The model mentioned has several advantages such as convenient boundary change, low cost, fast analysis speed, etc.,which can meet the scientific requirements for several design schemes, therefore this model has a broad application prospect in engineering fields.

Abstract:With the unique resources, location and policy advantages, Fangchenggang city is becoming one of the most important economic core areas in the whole Guangxi regional economy. With the port development, the land width of Port Yugang is narrowed by both sides of the water. Meanwhile, due to the planning and construction of the steel base, a large number of Qisha Peninsula’s port coastline and land resources are occupied and thus restrict the development of steel downstream industries and large-scale maritime industries. The planning and construction of large artificial island at Qisha east of Fangcheng port will ease the shortage of resources to better utilize the advantages of the location and resources of Fangcheng port.

Abstract:The development of commercial tank farms for liquid chemicals sets forth the following requirements to the supporting piers: more reasonable process design, a greater variety of handling cargoes, and more flexible operation. Based on the engineering experience, we summarize the main factors to be considered in the process design, piping layout design and material selection for the supporting pier of the commercial tank farm for liquid chemicals. We also give the typical process and piping layout of the pier platform which may serve as a reference for the process design of liquid chemical wharves.

Abstract:Taking a completed railway ferry terminal program as an example, considering the arrangement of existing mooring facilities in terminals, this paper carries out a comparative analysis of the vessel loading of a ferry in force 9 wind and force 10 wind using Chinese standard and British standard respectively. The results show that it is safe to stay for mooring in the terminal when the wind force is less than 10.

The new port areas are located in the coast or estuary area, and the old ports are facing to be urbanized renovated in the city center. Abstract:This article mainly introduces the types of the ice load, the calculation method, and anti-icing design schemes of pile-foundation structural approach bridge in Dongying port, combining with the current domestic ice load research status. Considering the operation convenience, construction period, and total cost, this paper also analyses main measures against the ice load, including prefabricated ice apron, outer wrapping sheet steel of pile,and summarizes several matters during anti-icing design of maritime structure, which may serve as a reference for similar designs.

Abstract:When the construction period of a project is pressing, the land formation and soft foundation of this project is considered constructed before the wharf structure, the chosen of the position of the temporary cofferdam is the key of the design. The conclusion is drawn from a project analysis in Zhuhai that the position of the temporary cofferdam must be determined under the consideration of the geology and the wharf structure follow-up and the range of the soft foundation. It must be adaptable to the possible wharf structure, to reduce repeated construction and foundation treatment as much as possible.

Abstract:Characterized by easy starting up, quick settling and rapid compacting, the sedimentation of silty coast has a great impact on the maintenance of estuarine channel. Double-dyke construction is the key to the approach channel regulation project of Sheyang port in order to reduce the sediment deposition. This paper studies the sediment deposition and distribution of the channel with different dyke top elevations by model tests, and the results show a better deposition reduction and less cost of projects with a top elevation near mean high tide level,serving as a reference for similar engineering designs.

Abstract:Surcharge preloading method is most commonly used in ground treatment. But the detection analysis in shortly time after the reinforcement effect is lacked. Abstract:In recent years, with more and more reconstruction and redevelopment projects which are based on the old terminal wharf, both design and construction meets a series of unusual problems which need to be solved urgently. Considering lots of barriers underwater and the pile-foundation design, this article introduces schedules including the pile driving method of direct clearing obstructions, the method of punched hole concreting pile , and the method of impact-pile help pile driving. This article also analyzes in detail and summarizes the construction method of impact-pile, which will provide a useful reference for the selection of the structural design of similar projects and construction programs.

Abstract:In order to reinforce the landslide-revetment of Zhoushan COSCO Shipyard No.1 berth which is in an unstable state, not only the design schedule is taken into consideration, but also the probablely adverse influential factors are analyzed. To ensure the stability of revetment during construction period, various available control measures are taken based on real-time monitoring data.
