      2011(10):1-6.

      Abstract (1325) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (36) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The numerical simulations of tidal current and sediment are carried out after the implementation of the project of Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge. The piers are treated as solid boundary and the grids near the piers are enriched. According to the results of the numerical simulation, the changes of tidal level, velocity of tidal current, tidal volume and the siltation and erosion of the underwater topography in nearby sea area after the implementation of the project are analyzed. The results show that the effect of constructing Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge in the hydrodynamic sediment environment is only limited to the vicinity of the bridge, and it has no negative effect on Lingding navigational channel and has no influence on the patterns of swale of Lingdingyang bay.

      2011(10):15-19.

      Abstract (780) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (19) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:By contrast tests on local scour around cylinder pile clusters in different conditions with different cylinder pile clusters, different velocities or water depths in an unilateralism invariableness-uniform flow flume, the data of flume topography change after testing is analyzed. The results show that the local scour around cylinder pile cluster is extremely complex, the existence of pile cluster changed significantly the original motion state of water sand, and intensified the local scour around cylinder pile cluster. The characteristics of scouring and deposition of bed influenced by cylinder pile cluster can’t be simply explained by cylinder pile cluster resistance, it is most related to and affected by the arranging form of cylinder piles. Furthermore, the influence of the flow velocity and the water depth is limited and is actually reflected through the arranging of cylinder piles in the tested cylinder pile cluster.

      2011(10):20-23.

      Abstract (795) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (18) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The anchor-girder composite system is one kind of reaction methods used frequently in rock mass in-situ test, but the force on rock mass caused by the anchor will lead to a certain degree of bias on the deformation accuracy of rock mass. Through establishing the theoretical model of force on rock mass caused by anchor, the theoretical formula of deformation on test points caused by anchor was deduced. Compared with the theoretical deformation of rock mass, the formula on the degree of influence caused by contact pressure in rock mass in-situ test was given. Combining with the in-situ test, according to mechanics parameters of a certainⅡkind of rock mass, the theoretical deformation and reaction-caused deformation were calculated separately. The results show that for thisⅡkind of rock mass, the reaction-caused deformation is 0.035% of the theoretical deformation, so the theoretical foundation was provided for the enhancement of accuracy of the test results.

      Abstract (1481) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (9) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Based on the hydrographic data analysis, 2D modeling and fluvial evolution analysis which are combined to study the main changes of hydrodynamic and features of fluvial evolution, we can get that the water level change is the direct response to the lowering of riverbed in the runoff dominant reaches while it is controlled by the tidal dynamic in the tide affected reaches during the median and lower water level. The tidal change is the response to the lowering of riverbed, deceasing of the bottom slope and increasing of the channel capacity. The velocity change is the response to the water depth and longitudinal slope.

Abstract:Based on a study for the layout of navigation-power junction at Chejiang dam site of Tugutang on Xiangjiang River, we established the orthogonal curve two-dimensional current mathematical model. Firstly the model was verified with the nature current materials, and some parameters were adjusted so that the calculated result by the model was consistent with the real-measured data. Then the emulating navigation-power junction was embedded into this model. By the navigation-power junction simulation model, the typical discharge ways of the junction was simulated, the current distribution characteristics was analyzed, and some parameters relating to navigation including the longitudinal and cross flow in the entrance area of the approach channel and in the approach channel. Finally, the navigation current conditions were evaluated according to the Code for Master Design of Shiplocks (JTJ 305—2001). I revealed the features of less investment and time, abundant fruit and easy scheme optimization of this simulation technique.

Abstract:Taking Donghai bridge offshore wind farm as the background, this paper firstly calculates the displacement and excess pore pressure of multi-layer non-homogeneous soil based on Biot consolidation theory, and makes a discussion on the effect of wave load on the seabed motion; then, based on the displacement results, this paper obtains the internal forces and deformations of offshore wind turbine monopole by the dynamic p-y method and the support displacement loading method, and compares them with the results without seabed motion. It is illustrated that the seabed motion has appreciable impact on the deformation of pile shaft, therefore, it is recommended to perform the deformation check considering seabed motion.

      Abstract (1174) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (11) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The one-dimensional unconfined compression creep test of Shenzhen bay marine soft clay is carried out by the consolidometer for studying marine soft clay creep property, and soft clay creep model is established. The result shows that Shenzhen soft clay creep deformation is mainly the instantaneous deformation and decay creep deformation. The creep deformation is nonlinear and the more obvious the greater the creep stress, and the higher the stress level, the more significant nonlinear characteristics, the complexer shear creep characteristics. The creep property of Shenzhen soft clay may be well described by the Burgers model, especially the decay creep stage and steady creep stage fit well. The steady creep deformation is significantly affected by the stress level, the greater the performance of the consolidation stress, the greater the steady creep deformation, the longer the standard time. It is revealed that in actual projects, when the load on the soil is big, we must consider the damage to buildings due to the creep deformation.

      Abstract (1795) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (7) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The development of vacuum-surcharging preloading method is briefly introduced. Based on the field monitoring data, the change law of surface settlement, pore water pressure, horizontal displacement and water level by vacuum-surcharging preloading method with time are analyzed. The results show that the vacuumsurcharging preloading method can speed up the rate of foundation settlement and shorten the construction period. The change of the pore water pressure in shallow soil is obvious while in deep soil is slow in the process of vacuumsurcharging preloading. The direction of the horizontal displacement in the process of vacuum preloading turns to the inside of the strengthened area, while in the process of surcharge preloading it turns to the outside of the strengthened area, vacuum-surcharging preloading method reduces horizontal displacement and improves the stability of the foundation.

Abstract:Caofeidian southeast breakwater phase II, the first protecting building of the Caofeidian industrial zone, is not only an important part but also a protection of the industrial zone. Through analyzing the tide and the dynamic topography of the engineering region, it is concluded that the construction of this project has little effect on the Caofeidian groove. The building level for this project is designed as Level I, the structural section is sloping structure, and the breakwater core is the riprap structure. The breakwater structure adopts double mounds: riprap for the sea side and sand bags for the land side, with fill sand in the middle. The closure engineering is the key for the implementation of this project. This article describes the exterior condition for the closure engineering and the closure construction technology.
