Abstract:With the rapid development of ship upsizing, higher requirements are put forward for navigation facilities. At present, large ships mainly use the floating bollards of ship lock to dock, but there are some problems in the use process, such as non-standard mooring, too fast enteringof ships into the lock, unable to carry out safety warning of ships' entering the lock, and overload of the mooring system. Aiming at the structure characteristics of the floating bollard in Gezhouba Dam No.1 ship lock project, we carry out the finite element analysis for the stress of the ship lock floating bollard's upper structure by the numerical simulation method.According to the stress data of plates No.1~3 and tube No.4, we determine that the stress concentration and sensitive zones of the floating bollard are mainly near the dolphin.The result lays a theoretical basis for the field experiment scheme of the lock floating bollard's stress monitoring.
