Based on the Phase VI Sediment-Promoting Enclosure Project of Hengsha East Beach-Land Reclamation Project and aiming at the problems of the expanding area of dredger filling construction area and poor soil quality，we study the methods of construction management and quality control of large-area dredger filling engineering. By means of benchmarking control，reserved settlement，erecting pipe diaphragm and other methods，the elevation of dredger filling is strictly controlled and the construction cost is reduced under the prerequisite of satisfying the engineering requirements. The research result provides a technical support for the following-up Seventh and Eighth Hengsha East Beach-Land Reclamation project，and may serve as reference for the construction management and quality control of other comprehensive land-reclamation projects with larger enclosure area.
