    Abstract:

Aiming at the design of a liquefied natural gas(LNG) high-pile wharf structure on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea,in order to gain the vibration amplitude, vibration frequency and cyclic numbers of the tie-in point of LNG pipeline on the structure under seismic excitation to provide the necessary data for the design of LNG pipeline,we carry out the non-linear time history analysis for the structure. Based on the widely-recognized code,we discuss the specific process of non-linear time-history analysis, such as defining the level of seismic resistance, obtaining the seismic excitation curve and matching the target spectrum, simulating the nonlinear material behavior and soil-structure interaction and setting the plastic hinge. The results show that the displacement of the tie-in point of LNG pipeline under seismic condition can satisfy the requirements of operating basis earthquake and safe shutdown earthquake.
