Port safe production guarantees basically normal operation of the port enterprise,and the video surveillance system plays a vital role for the port security.With the development of information and network technology,the video surveillance system based on network has been widely used to provide intelligent security assurance.Combining with a container wharf project in Abu Dhabi,UAE,we expound the design scheme for the port video surveillance system based on the MCC standard,analyze the advantage of the network video surveillance system,and compare the requirements of MCC standard with the Chinese GB standard,so as to provide reference for companies to contract similar projects in UAE.
