Abstract:Aiming at the problem that there are large quantity of precast concrete and underwater construction inconvenient in traditional gravity wharf,we optimize the wharf structure based on the port engineering in Panama,develop a new type of steel frame gravity wharf structure combining with the concept of Gabion net cage applied in the inland river wharf,and analyze and evaluate its performance.The results show that this structure type is novel and clear mechanical behavior,it can effectively reduce the concrete quantity and the construction process,improve the underwater construction efficiency and shorten the construction period.This structure also has achieved good social and economic benefits,which can provide references for the similar projects.
