Abstract:Typical landslide parameters in Three Gorges Reservoir were collected.Taking the topographic data of the Wanzhou section of the Yangtze River,the three-dimensional physical model of impulse waves was built on the basis of similarity criterion.According to the situation of navigation,the ships were divided into three types:the navigation ships,moored ships and anchored ships.The navigation safety thresholds of three type ships exposed under impulse waves induced by landslides were studied.The results indicated that the channel as a suffered body due to impulse waves disaster was partitioned into three subareas：the straight area within the width of landslide(region A),the straight area outside the width of landslide(region B),and the meandering area(region C);for region A,the detailed threshold did not exist,all ships were prevented from entering this area when meeting a landslide forewarning or landslide;for region B and C,these ships should be keep outside the safe distance thresholds.
