The technology of improving the safety inspection efficiency of ships crossing the Three Gorges section is studied.In view of the current status of ship safety inspection in the Three Gorges section,we probe into the achievements and problems one year after implementation of 100% safety inspection of the Yangtze River Three Gorges area,and put forward measures for further improving the safety inspection efficiency of ships passing through the three Gorges section.Through strengthening the application of the information technology for the safety inspection of ships passing the lock,improving the understanding of safety inspection work by shipping enterprises and shipowners,strengthening the shipowner’s cooperation and perfecting the construction of ship inspection base,we can reduce the working hours of safety inspection and promote the development of navigation informatization in the Three Gorges section. Moreover,it is of great significance for the establishment of the intelligent safety inspection platform.
