Distribution regularities of cone penetration resistance in dynamic compaction sandy soil foundation and selection of construction parameters

    Abstract:

    In order to study the distribution of cone penetration resistance of dynamic compacted sand soil foundation,22 hydraulic reclamation areas were tested by static penetration test.The following distribution rules were found:1)Under the dynamic compaction sand soil foundation,the cone penetration resistance was basically linear within the depth range of 1 m. 2)For the area with a thickness of about 11 m,there would be a peak within the range of 1~6 m,and the cone penetration resistance would decrease within the range of 6~10 m,further the cone penetration resistance of gravel sand layer closing to the seabed elevation would increase again below 10 m. 3)For the area with a thickness of about 6 m,the cone penetration resistance of gravel sand layer closing to the seabed elevation would increase again;in the range of 1~4 m,the tip resistance would reach the peak value,and in the range of 4~6 m,the tip resistance would decrease,further in the depth of 6 m,the tip resistance of gravel sand layer closing to the seabed elevation would increase again.Through the test results,the bearing capacity and total settlement were calculated,and the rationality of construction parameters selection was verified.
