With the implementation of the“The Belt and Road”initiative,more and more overseas port and park conceptual design projects have sprung up in recent years.In the process of design and practice of such projects,problems such as lack of data of bathymetric chart,topographic map,natural hydrology and population economy are often encountered,which brings great difficulties to the design work.In view of the above problems,this paper summarizes,analyses,collects and collates the data of bathymetric and topography,natural hydrology and population economy available through open channels,and gives the nature,source and use of the data.It is suggested to establish a special database,purchase professional software and establish a perfect design consultation process in order to better complete the conceptual design of overseas projects.
