    Abstract:

    Soil of the dredging and reclamation project of Ram Port in Kenya is mainly composed of coral-like limestone mixed with clay.Aiming at the problems that suction mouth plugging and pump blocking usually happen,and the cutter is damaged easily to affect the construction seriously when it excavates hard coral rock,we study the type of cutter head,anti-rock device and excavation technology.Based on theoretical analysis and field test,we strengthen the cutter head and cutter tooth to improve production efficiency,and install the rock and gravel removal device to bring excellent stone-proof effect.The time utilization rate is over 75%,and the construction cost and the construction period are reduced by these measures.
