Abstract:The submerged breakwater is a kind of building with good wave dissipation effect, but in practical engineering, some single submerged breakwater can not meet the requirements of wave height behind the breakwater. The influence of double submerged breakwater structure on wave dissipation is studied by physical model test, and relevant factors affecting the wave penetration coefficient of the submerged breakwater are analyzed, such as incident wave height, relative submergence depth and wave steepness. The results show that with the increase of the submergence depth, the transmission coefficient of submerged breakwater decreases, and the wave dissipation effect of submerged breakwater turns better. The transmission coefficient of the submerged breakwater decreases with the increase of wave steepness. At the same time, the experimental results are compared with the empirical formulas of the permeability coefficients of various countries, which verify the applicability of Yang Zhengji′s formula and can calculate the wave heights behind the double submerged breakwaters separately.
