Abstract:There are different methods for calculating the overtopping of armored rubble slopes at home and abroad.It is necessary to select an appropriate method to accurately calculate and evaluate the overtopping of sloping breakwaters.Relying on the breakwater project of an overseas container terminal expansion project,the calculation methods of overtopping of armored rubble slope commonly used at home and abroad are introduced in detail.Combined with the physical model test of 2D overtopping,the calculation values of each calculation method and the test results are compared and analyzed.The results show that EurOtop(2016)in the European Standard has better adaptability in calculating the overtopping of armored rubble slope,the average method is smaller than the test value,and the design evaluation method is larger than the test value;while the CEM method in the United States and OCDI method in Japan are quite different from the test results.The research results can provide references for the design and construction safety assessment of sloping breakwaters.
