In order to realize the initial passage of 6 m water depth on the Wuhan to Anqing section of the Yangtze River main line,waterway regulation is needed.Zhangjaizhou waterway is one of the important shallow channels in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.Based on the research on the regulation of built waterway and according to the basic data of prototype observation of Zhangjiazhou waterway,we analyze the condition of 6 m-depth waterway and its changing trend in depth,and propose the regulation idea,principle and parameters.Combining with the physical model experiment to study the regulation,we predict the evolution trend of the watercourse and carry out the effect experimental study on the regulation program.The research results show that,with the implementation of the regulation program,the condition of the 6 m-depth waterway of the watercourse can be basically achieved.
