Abstract:In recent years, the automated container terminal has gradually formed the typical container yard handling technology scheme:the whole container yard is vertical to the terminal, and each yard is equipped with two ARMGs (automated rail-mounted gantry crane)which are responsible for the handling of the shipside and landside operation respectively. However,in the terminal under the high ratio of water to water transshipment, the shipside operation volume is higher than the landside volume,so ARMG handling on the two sides are unbalanced, which affects the ship handling efficiency.Analyzing the inadaptability of the scheme in the high-ratio water to water transshipment terminal, and combing the existing solutions at home and abroad,we propose a new targeted plan.Based on the scheme comparison,we put forward the solution idea, which may serve as reference for the design of similar container terminals.
