Concerning the layout of culverts,outlets and energy dissipation facilities of the filling-emptying system of longitudinal culvert in lock floor,we carry out a lot of theoretical analyses and physical model tests based on the lock engineering.According to relevant research results,we analyze the main characteristics and applicability of the filling-emptying system of longitudinal culvert in lock floor,and put forward the improved layout of energy dissipation system for promoting the efficiency of ship lock and optimizing the force of mooring ship.We also give suggestions on the application of the filling-emptying system of longitudinal culvert in lock floor in the medium & high-head lock project.
