In order to solve the constraints of existing hub buildings on the expansion of second-line ship locks under complex terrain conditions in hilly areas,this paper analyzes theoretically the design conditions,and proposes the overall layout plan of the ship lock suitable for the curved section and the technical measures to ensure the navigation capacity,which is verified by the physical model.The overall layout plan of the ship lock and related technical measures can provide reference for the construction of the second-line ship lock in the Xiangjiang River.
