    Abstract:

    Guniusha waterway is one of the key navigable waterways in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.It is of great significance to control the channel well for the smooth passage of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.Combining with the recent evolutional characteristics of Guniusha waterway in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,and aiming at the revetment reinforcement layout scheme in the initial design report of Guniusha waterway second phase channel regulation project,we present the optimization plan,and carry out the special design analysis and the checking calculation of the structural stability.The results indicate that the reinforcement length of the bank protection engineering can be reduced by 200 m,and the riprap amount in reinforcement engineering can also be reduced to 73,000 m3.The smooth bank slope meets the stability requirement of the whole design.It can provide a technical support for the second stage waterway regulation project and guarantee of safe navigation,and may serve as reference for the design of similar projects as well.
