    Abstract:

    For the projects in China,the vibration standard of replacing sand bedding is standard penetration test blow count N≥15.However,the above standard is lack of theory calculation.In order to solve this problem,we analyze and research French norms and other relevant documents,carry out a method of calculating the vibration standard of replacing sand bedding following the French norms.Based on a foreign project,the calculation results show that the suitable SPT N of replacing sand bedding for large-scale gravity wharf is not less than 22.The relationship between SPT N and angle of shearing resistance or limited pressure is the core of calculation.As the trend of larger-sized vessel and appearance of new equipment and new technique for large-scale gravity wharf,increasing the vibration standard of sand bedding appropriately is beneficial to improve the bearing capacity and control the settlement.
