    Abstract:

    Aiming at the matters related to barge stability,taking reclamation for Seri Tanjung Pinang phase II development(STP2)as an example,we introduce the method of construction for riprap work in shallow water area with limits of specific conditions,and adopt barge stability calculation as theoretical basis to determine heeling angle of barge,which is successfully verified by STP2 project.It provides a relatively simple and practical basis for barge safety checking for similar projects.
