Wave run-up and overtopping discharge on low pile platform vertical sea dike

    Abstract:

    In view of the lack of domestic standards for wave run-up and overtopping discharge on low pile platform vertical sea dike calculation methods,based on the Shenzhen airport runway seawall design section,through physical model experiment,the paper researches irregular wave and low pile caps erect dike foreshore and the flow meter,and analyzes the wave period,crest superelevation,the width of wave barrier cornice influence factors relationships with foreshore and the flow meter.The method of least square regression is used to calculate the wave run-up of vertical seawall.By using the method of multiple linear regression,the calculation method of sea wall surface-breaking is obtained.The comparison between the calculated value and the test value shows that there is a good correlation between them.
