This paper analyzes the problems existing in the equipment configuration,functional area division and safety management of the automatic bulk cargo terminal which has been put into operation in China.The countermeasures are put forward to further improve the operation efficiency of automated bulk cargo terminal and ensure the safety of operation.The technology development of automated bulk cargo terminal is prospected,which can be used for reference and reference in the construction or upgrading of automated bulk cargo terminal.
