The handling process system is the key factor affecting the general layout,efficiency and cost of automated container terminals,thus it is the matter to be considered at first in design.To grasp the technical development direction of the automatic handling process system,this paper introduces the present application and technical features of existing automated container terminals.According to the development of equipment and technological improvements of the automated twist lock handling machine,remote controlling for quay crane,intelligent driving,new energy,as well as the automatic rubber-tired gantry,the paper analyzes the development trend of the automation process system to provide reference for the planning and construction of automated container terminals.
