The CMSA container terminal of Manzanillo port is large scaled,multi-functional and high standardized.The project is located in the meizoseismal area on the western coast of Mexico,and the rear is adjacent to mangrove reserve and the touristic beach.In view of the above characteristics,the key technologies such as general layout,earthquake resistance and environmental protection are studied.According to the international design standard and the idea of development in phases,the design of wharf structure adopts the concept of weak column and strong beam,and takes mesures to protect environment like burying the ecological box culvert with large cross-section.
