    Abstract:

    According to the current situation of domestic LNG receiving terminals’,ports’ and jetties’fire fighting facilities,as well as the existing problems in the implementation of current specifications,by summarizing conventional design parameters of LNG ports’and jetties’fire-fighting facilities,we carry out a comprehensive analysis and exposition on several key issues involved in the design of fire protection of LNG port and jetty,such as fire fighting water consumption,fire control facilities,the installation setpoints of dry powder gun,the installation requirements of pier fire hydrant,the water curtain setting on the process platform frontiers,the duration of the fire turret protection water curtain effect and other aspects.After that we put forward the methods and suggestions to solve the above problems,which can provide reference for the future design of fire protection LNG terminals and the revision of relevant code.
