    Abstract:

    With its unique advantages,the large-diameter steel cylinder is applied to the revetment project of large-scale artificial island.Taking a large-scale artificial island project for example,we compare and analyze schemes,focusing on problems entountered in shallow embedding technique of large-diameter steel cylinder construction.With analysis and comparisons of the vibration-sinking methods,rectification methods and sequence of vibration-sinking,we summarize main processes of shallow embedding technique of large-diameter steel cylinder applied to foundation sand replacement,i.e.intermittent vibration-sinking process,floating crane rectification process,sequence-skip vibration-sinking & piling.
