    Abstract:

    Aiming at the connecting structures between large-diameter deep embed steel cylinders and combining with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge artificial island project,we analyze the type selection of arc cell and develop a new type of super-deep-type integral steel plate water-stop arc cell.According to the structure’s mechanical property and the function requirement,we propose the principle of determining the plane dimension and insertion depth of the arc cell.A wall thickness analysis method considering the initial deviation of steel cylinders is formed,and the structural design of the arc cell which satisfies the offset adaptability and construction requirements is proposed.The practical engineering proves that the new arc cell is characterized by good deviation adaptability,good water-stop effect and high construction efficiency.
