With adequate study of the display symbols on offshore waterways,a virtual A to N display standard of inland waterway including species and all kinds of display symbols is presented.Through analyzing the adaptability of visual aids to become virtualizes,virtual A to N are divided into 4 kinds (navigation mark,signal mark,special mark and all-purpose mark) and 9 species.Corresponding to the types of virtual A to N,two display methods,circular symbols and diamond symbols are proposed,and circular symbols are recommend.
