Abstract:
Based on the investigation and analysis of the supplement of sediment resource in the Yangtze Estuary deepwater channel and the sand demand for the reclamation in Shanghai,we find out the supply and demand relationship of the dredged soil. The results show that:the deepwater channel dredged soil is a clean sediment resource that can be used for the tideland reclamation. In the 13th five-year period, the total production of the deepwater channel dredged soil will be around 315 million m3,which cannot fully meet the requirements of Shanghai of about 400 million m3.Different reclamation projects can utilize the dredged soil of different sections of the deepwater channel.
